Welcome to the website of the Grand Lodge of Kazakhstan (GLK), the only regular organization recognized by the regular Grand Lodges of the world and operating on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. GLK is the custodian of the ancient traditions of the Order of Freemasons and the source of the spread of the Light of Freemasonry in our country and other countries.

The Order of Freemasons is known as one of the first colossal, non-political, non-religious and interethnic fraternal and philanthropic unions. Despite the fact that its roots go deep into many centuries, since then the main principle of Freemasons is this: the duty of everyone is to make this world good.

Over the past 300 years, the Order has served its members. It teaches love for the Creator, family and the state, and fosters virtue, justice, honesty and mercy. Every Freemason is a person with a high level of intelligence and character. We try to choose good people, improve ourselves, help society and understand the truth through freedom of speech.

The light of Freemasonry first appeared in our country in 1904, it was realized through the efforts of our first Freemason, the first Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Bukeikhan and our brothers who became legends in the Alash and Zhadidchilar parties. During the turbulent times of the Soviet Union, our lodges were closed, and only in 2015 did Freemasonry return to our country and begin to recover.

On a historic day, November 12, 2016, in the east of Almaty, the traditions of stability and the Grand Lodge of Russia created QAZAQ JOĞARY LOJASY, in which representatives of the Grand Lodges of Austria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova and Turkey took part. Thus, for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan, an independent Masonic jurisdiction appeared in our homeland.

In recent years, the number of three symbolic lodges has increased to six, and they are actively working in Astana and Almaty. In the near future, new lodges will open in Shymkent, Karaganda and Kostanay.

Regular Kazakh Freemasonry is becoming more and more popular in the jurisdictions of countries around the world every year and is officially recognized by them.

Our brothers never stop their constant work to become better than before, actively carry out charitable and educational work. In our Order there is harmony and respect, it is known that this is a fertile environment for self-development and mutual fraternal support. Among the brothers there are different citizens, and most importantly, among us there is no division and intolerance based on the level of prestige, wealth, political views, religion, language, nation or the like. For this reason, in our ranks there are many praying Muslim and Christian believers, famous scientists, entrepreneurs and cultural figures.
