How to become a Freemason
To join Freemasonry you must be recommended by one of our Grand Lodge members in accordance with the procedure laid out in our General Regulations.
However, if you wish us to consider your request on an exceptional basis, you should complete the form at the link below, providing all the information requested.
Membership is open to people from all walks of life, and the aim of the organisation is to enable members to become the best they can be – this includes building character, supporting members as individuals and helping them to make a positive contribution to society.
We have six Lodges which are open to any male over the age of 18, regardless of race or religion.
